Title: Instant question.
Post by: Destore117 on December 12, 2013, 01:41:17 PM
If I choose to take the damage from  {Breaking Point} can I play {intervention pact} to avoid the damage? Or would his spell resolve before I have a chance to play my instant?

In response to him casting {breaking point} you can cast the {intervention pact}. Target the spell on the stack (or the Player casting it, not sure which is the actual "source"). After resolution, chose to have the damage dealt
To you. That damage will be prevented, buy still prevent the destruction of creatures.
