{Ad Nauseam}
Are there any good combos with this? Is it effective? I see storm count possibly, maybe even self mill. What do you guys think?
Ohh yes. Even in EDH mono black ANT ({Ad Nauseum} {Tendrils of Agony}) is a very consistent combo deck. It can even win on turn one. Basically a 1 card combo with AN since the entire CMC of the deck is lower than your life total.
{soul conduit} draw like crazy, get 0 life, tap. Gg
Yeah ANT is one of the major combo decks in Legcacy, {Ad Nauseam} is basically used as a draw engine to fill your hand with cards to cast before casting {Tendrils of Agony} for the kill.
Anything that doesn't change your life total. Free cards

This. Low curve and 0 CMC spells such as {Lion's Eye Diamond} and {Lotus Petal} make it great in a storm deck, though you do need to start at a relatively high life total to reliably get everything you need to win.

How does it use {Lion's Eye Diamond}? Don't see how it contributes to the deck besides being a free draw.
It's for {past in flames} and the rituals, it helps build the storm count you need

Because you cast {Infernal Tutor} or {Burning Wish} after {Ad Nauseam}, crack your LED's in response and use the mana to tendrils/empty/kill them.
{Platinum Angel} and {Platinum Emperion} would let you draw your deck and {Labratory Maniac} would get you the win.

Lab Maniac wouldn't win on the spot though, since the cards aren't being drawn.
Commander with
{Maralen of the Mornsong}
{Ad Nauseam}
{Dark Sphere}
{Sickening Dreams}
{Elixir of Immortality}
And 95 swamps
Seems boring though

You mean tap it, then in response to the ability on the stack, AN? Does that work, or do you die before the stack resolves?

If you get 0 life, you die at the next state check (before any more things can resolve or be activated)

For EDH:
{{Skirge Familiar}} then tendrils into {{Exanguinate}}
...if you hate people. JK, but that combo is just sick.
