Title: Voice of lazav
Post by: respawned on December 10, 2013, 10:47:23 PM
If I choose for {lazav, dimir mastermind} to become a copy of {voice of resurgence}, do I get a token when lazav dies?

Yes. He becomes a copy of it, therefore he has all the text Voice has.

That's my point thou... Lazav becomes a copy of that card except his name is still lazav ect., but voices text says "...or when voice of resergence dies", but his name is lazav

Vileo's right.

201.4b: If an ability of an object refers to that object by name, and an object with a different name gains that ability, each instance of the first name in the gained ability that refers to the first object by name should be treated as the second name.

So when Lazav gains VoR's ability, all instances of "voice of resurgence" are replaced by "lazav, dimir mastermind"
