Title: Tezzeret Lore
Post by: DylanW18 on December 10, 2013, 08:13:57 AM
Is he good? Evil? I'm trying to find lore on him, but I can't. My guess is that he was neutral then hired by Bolas and became evil? Can anyone write me the lore or send me a link to it?

He was evil under Bolas, theneft Bolas and wasn't evil but cruel, then got into a scuffle with Jace, was remade by Bolas, and was a good guy and went after Bolas. He was awesome too, favorite Walker lore-wise. His books are AWESOME.

Tezzret is more power hungery then anything else....he started the information brokers in ravinca...he destroyed his old school to get access to the old and forbidden knowledge...and after bolas got ahold of him we last saw him on new phyrexia fighting glissa for the right to rule the phyrexians...doing this betrays bolas...so not so much evil as much as selfish, but his lore is great:he beats jace in a duel try's to have him killed after the duel as well...tezzret is a bad @$$!

Tezzeret has an amazing story and every magic fan should read the books if they can. He started in the slums gathering Etherium for his abusive father and worked all the up to running a multi-planar organization on his own.

I've read the comics.

They're alright... Not too much lore though.

I enjoy the art of the comics but I felt the story was lacking. I guess that's why I enjoyed the books. Has anyone read the older set books?

I've read most of the books. Thran - Scars
I'm missing some of the old ones and some anthologies.

I wish they would go back to the set novels. There needs to be some Innistrad books. I wish there was more on Zendikar as well. I am currently rereading the older ones. I am about halfway through Morningtide.

I've got quite a few of the old ones, but I'm missing The Thran, and I can't find it anywhere.

Would you be willing to trade for it?

Sorry books are not for trade. It would be cheaper if you bought it from an online used book store. What older books do you have. I consider the books before Brothers War as the old ones.

I've got some of those, I have all of the brothers except the thran, ice age, mercado an masques, invasion, odyssey, onslaught, kamigawa, and ravnica.

All are the complete cycles.

I have read a lot more, but that's all I currently own.

I have all the block books plus many of the originals. (60+)
I think I'm missing around 12 books that I know of. Like Dragons of Magic, Secrets or Myths of Magic, Tapestries and a few more of the oldies

Those ones are extremely hard to find.  I can't even find them online.
