So {Fiendslayer Paladin} is my favorite card and I have had a foil Korean one for a while now.. I really want to use him and before I had the foil one, I ran a similar orzhov pillowfort with him as my frontman. I have since scrapped it because I was getting creamed by control decks, but now that I've been playing longer (I had been playing for about 2 or 3 months when I built the first one), I feel like I have learned to play against control (I main esper now lolololol).

So anyway! Just looking for some helpful tips and critiques to help me finish this deck and fine tune it!

Some notes:

Slither head is there because I'd like to give Fiendslayer some easy counters to get out of the board wipe by damage range ASAP and to chump early aggro decks.

Indestructibility vs supreme verdict ☺️

If your spheres are your pillows you will want to run 4 so you garrantee you actually get one per game.
{Blind Obedience} could really help your deck and slow down your opponent.
{Ordeal of Heliod} and  {Divine Favor} can really help your guys get a little tougher and  {Heliod, God of the Sun} pumping out guys that will also add to  {Sphere of Safety}.

{Contaminated Ground} and  {Shrieking Affliction} can really slow down and even threaten your opponent.

Also you should have  {Debtor's Pulpit} in your sideboard to deal with  {Ætherling}.

Didn't even know the pulpit was a card! That's awesome!

I forgot to throw blind obediences in there, but they're definitely going in. I'll try it out with a couple Heliods!

Contaminated ground and shrieking affliction both sound interesting, gonna try it out!

{Underworld Connections} and {Blood Baron of Vizkopa}
Great suggestions, the protection on him and Fiendslayer will be super annoying to deal with 😁

Korean foil fiendslayer? Sounds nice ;)

Unless you're just wanting the extort I would drop {tithe drinker} for {hopeful eidolon}...it fuels your sphere and its bestow ability is nice late game

Haha it is very nice!
You should see it 😜

Oo, that's pretty good too, I only threw her in because she's b/w and comes with lifelink!

But most of my creatures already have lifelink, atleast the ones that I want to keep on the board, so it's basically a bestow of 4 cmc for a minimum, +1/+1, maximum +5/+5. I'd rather run {gift of Orzhova} for 1 mana less and flying!

The gift is funny attached to heliod, but the eidolon is better for more destructible creatures: you keep the enchantment on the board to pump your spheres and ethereal armours, pluss you can put it down early as a one drop with the ethereal armour on it on turn two for a very aggro swing for 3 lifelink on turn 2, with 1 spare mana. (If you had 2 of the armours as well, that's a stinking 7/7 hitter!)

That's true, but I think more about mid game, he has no protection from basic kill spells so I would rather drop my ethereal armors on Fiendslayer and brave whatever elements he's not protected from 😉

I'll probably end up ditching the Tithe for hopefuls though just because they're enchantment creatures.
