Title: Turn 5 Naya progenitus
Post by: Destore117 on December 07, 2013, 12:52:58 PM
Turn 1 forest
Turn 2 {mountain}/{plains} play {Trace of Abundance}
Turn 3 play {Knotvine mystic} + land
turn 4 use mystic ability to play {Mayael the Anima} + play a 2nd mystic
Turn 5 tap land with abundance to use both mystics for Maya ability to play {Progenitus} (hopefully you've drawn it)

T3 Forest tap out for {Elvish Piper}
Next turn use the pipers ability for Progenitus and 👍

No, at TCG mid mine is more expensive. And really, only a little better  if any 😜

Another faster way is:
Turn 1 throw opponents deck and when they go to pick up the cards, sneak progenitus onto the field. GG

Or {quicksilver amulet} lol.

Quicksilver is a turn five (tapped out at four to get it on, next turn tap four to play) piper does it in 4. I always loved that lil elf. Now I know why.

Or you could t1 with {Swamp} {Dark Ritual} {Entomb} {Exhume} proceed to win. Lol

Piper and amulet are same speed based on mana, circumstances could speed one over the other.
Fastest way I can figure it out

Turn 1:  forest producing land into  {Sol Ring} play {Lotus Petal}
Turn 2:  {Dryad Arbor} , tap forest, sac lotus petal for green, tap sol ring cast  {Natural Order} sacrificing the dryad arbor into progenitus

:) turn 2 .. I could do it on turn 1..  With the entomb,dark ritual stufff leyline of anticipation for instant speed from opening hand..

But it would require mostly black deck and would be a lot less progenitus fun time ... Lol... the first setup I could probably build a deck around....

Ummmm, entomb puts him in grave and then he shuffles his happy little butt right back into the deck...
There is reaction time.

Nope, exhume is a sorcery

Hydra doesn't even get a chance to get comfy in grave before he digs his way out and the spells cannot enter the stack in between resolutions
Didn't notice the sorcery lol

Like I said earlier, leyline of anticipation in opening hand would fix that sorcery speed stuff...but I still think natural order is the best way to go... Easily done turn 2 in the right deck.

Everybody calm down we get it my way isn't the best or most professional way to play progen. But I found it and was sharing it. Enough arguing over the billions of better ways to do so :p

Destore, we are not arguing over better ways to show you that you are wrong, on the contrary, like the power mad card mothers we all are we are attempting to do what you are trying but with the cards we know and have and coming up with 1000 ways to not make a lightbulb...

It's like you opened Pandora's box and a bunch of energy drink laden ferrets leaped out and are trying to find what direction to run off to first...
I just get annoyed when I start thinking and I'm like WOW They did what I did but Better but by all means. Ferrets! Leap away!

Yours, Mlerner12 was just talking about something way off topic, while other people tried to use the posting as a way to discover/ share potential progenitus early game plays...

destore117, I wouldn't be offended that other people are showing interest and also looking for ways to do it. It doesn't say anything bad about you, or your ideas. It actually shows shared interest.

Exactly, it's more of an alt win condition. It's always better if u can have two combos to get your win condition on the board. Thats how I see these combo discussion threads.

You could do
T1 Forest into {Elvish Mystic}
T2 mountain tap out for {Fervor}
T3 Forest tap out for {Elvish Piper}
Next turn use the pipers ability for Progenitus and 👍

Why does no one use  {Norwood Priestess}?
