Title: Relationships: the Thread.
Post by: Thetrufflehunter on December 05, 2013, 12:56:13 AM
This is here to talk about what relationship you're in, advice, questions, tips, or anything of the sort!

To kick it off: I have a girlfriend who plays magic. From what I've seen, that makes me one of the luckiest guys on earth :P

Christmas is coming around, what are you getting your boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband/partner/other? I'm personally aiming for an EDH alter from white drake and some basketball game/concert tickets for us to go to.

Please try to keep this thread mostly SFW, and enjoy!

What a thoughtful gift :p

@moneekah I almost said "unless your partner is on imtg, in which case don't mention what you're getting them *cough*moneekahandlolrus*cough*."

Soon imtg will need a sub forum filled with "...agoo?..." *drool*.

I have a wife who I have to hide my Magic from cause she despises the game. :/

We're going through a really rough patch right now, too. I honestly can't see it lasting past February.

Well Noah and I have been together for five years now, and our son is almost 3 years old! We have similar interests as far as music and hobbies, but we do disagree on some things. I love him!

And without said baby, it would have went south.

Haha!!! I'm just kidding, I just could not resist.

We studied this in history a month ago. Early Ancient Rome stole the women from a nearby tribe. The men of the village attack rome. The women, who have given birth to Roman babies, plop em in between the Roman and tribal men, and they stopped fighting. Moral of the story: babies stop war.

Currently dating a girl I met when I was studying abroad in Europe. She's also a student but not from the same school. We've been maintaining a long-distance relationship since April and have made several trips to see each other. She's Rhode Island, I'm Arizona :(

She was here for Thanksgiving and we cooked for the fam. I'll be flying to her the day after my last final which is in like a week and a half :)

I'm very happily married. We don't have kids but she came with a maltese that I spoil at every chance I get.

This will be our fifth Christmas together. We're at the point where we're like "Gimme some money. I'll buy what I want and give it to you to wrap up." We'll still get each other a few little surprises though.

My lady is good to me and I to her. She knows the way to my core and how to tame the beast within. With lips of silk she sends her love to me.

My boyfriend and I have been best friends for five years and have been dating "officially" for 9 months. It's long distance but we make it work going back and forth :) his birthday was November 24th, I bought him a Theros box, Star Wars sleeves, a custom Dr. Strange Xbox 360 controller, A Dr Strange Bowen mini bust, a Star Wars Dash Rendar figure and some shirts. For Christmas I'm getting him custom Star Wars Xbox One controller, more MTG stuffs, Risk battlefield edition, ninja turtles hoodie, shirts and I haven't decided really what else to get him >_<

The only girl I dated-- for a whole month!! *fistpump*-- convinced me to go back to my old school with her and leave all of my friends. Me being a "go with the flow" guy I did it and then she started comparing me to all of her ex's and being super depressed, because I assume she didn't actually like me. So I broke up with her and haven't really talked since. We were friends for nearly 3 years before that.. Which was the hardest part of it all. I'll be honest, if we could just hang out more like "bros" I think I'd like that, but she hates me so *derpface* can't do nubbin' bout dat!

Me and my girlfriend have been dating for a year and a half ish. She hated magic for a long time. Not because of the game, but just because of some bad choices I made once in a store.

Now that it mulled over she is giving EDH a shot :) she built a {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice} deck (which surprisingly, for a new player, is pretty well built). Although I did let her run all the banned Un-Set cards she thought was cute, sooooooo

Anyways, yeah :)
