Title: Guild feud + Gods
Post by: Bop on December 04, 2013, 04:14:20 PM
If  {Thassa, God of the Sea} is put onto the battlefield with  {Guild Feud}, but would cease to be creature because of insufficient devotion on the board... would she still fight the opponents creature? Can the state based action that determines whether or not she is a creature check devotion while the guild feud trigger is still resolving in full?

I'm not sure if the "IF" in the guild feud would allow gods to enter as what they would otherwise be.

Thassa will enter, since she is a creature in all zones. However, if devotion is not high enough, then she will not be a creature on the battlefield. In that case, the other creature will not fight.
