Title: MLP: FiM
Post by: xStrayKnightx on December 03, 2013, 07:08:20 PM
So I watched the very first two episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic yesterday, and I'm hooked. XD

Anyone else here watch it? NO SPOILERS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Really, who cares if it is? You'd be surprised what goodness comes out of kids shows.

So pretending you're a wizard called a Planeswalker and battling other wizards via pieces of cardboard with dragons, elves, goblins, and even unicorns printed on them is totally okay, but being a non-little girl and liking MLP is crossing the line? Pot, meet kettle.

So I don't mean to be mean or anything, but I think I've seen that saying before. Probably in the other My Little Pony thread in Pulls and Ponies.

Look, I don't have a problem with the show. I was just asking.

Also, to your point. I don't pretend to be a wizard or a Mage casting spells with cardboard. I use the strategy needed for the game to beat my opponents and win tournements, and win money. Daydreaming has nothing to do with it.

So I think your point is moot. Though, I'm sure there are some out there who do exactly what you described, however, I am not one. I play because it tests my brain and I get to make money from it. Either selling them or the aforementioned tournements.

Again, I mean no disrespect. Just simply stating my opinion.

No disrespect taken. I was just stating my opinion as well ;)

And if you've seen it before, then so what? It still applies.

Also, if was me that said "pot, meet kettle" in the other thread, therefore giving me the right to use it again.

In that case, would  {Hero's Downfall} actually destroy the other player??

Forget the MLP hype! Care Bears are Boss! Sometimes on St. Partricks day at the end of the night I think I can shoot a four leaf clover out of my stomach

I think that is not something you should try unless there is a friendly bucket handy. Whiskey is awesome going down, but not as much coming up. I would also like pics if you succeed.

I watch it with my best (male) friend and my toddler son. So I guess it's an adult male or female show, as well as a little boy's show, and since you've already covered that it's a little girl's show, it seems as though it is a show for anyone who enjoys it.

As stated above. I was simply asking as I've never seen or heard of the show.

If you bothered to read the original thread Mikefrompluto and I had this conversation.

So, before you jump to your conclusions, do your research!

Thanks, as I said before, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Well apparently I'm blind.

I wouldn't care either way. I just didn't see them. I need to stop curing my glaucoma while I am on the forum. XD
