Title: Splicers
Post by: Imdowd80 on March 20, 2012, 01:25:39 AM
Is there a good way to make a splicer deck using all the different splicers?

{Venser the Sojourner}
{Intangible Virtue}
And let's not forget
{Tempered Steel}

Plus {parelell lives} but other then that and the ones you mentioned. It's a tri color deck, and I really don't want to build a Giant deck, my last tri color deck (rug) was huge over a 100 cards.

Go GWU splicers if you want! That gives your golems flying, first strike, and regeneration. With green comes maul splicer and parralel lives! Throw in a couple {Titan Forge} and a couple {Vedalken Infuser} to pump out 9/9 golems that reap the benefits of your splicers! Throw in some {Mimic Vat}s to keep stacking on the golems!

There are so many fun things to do with golems.....

If you do a search for "My Precious", you should find my Splicer/Golem deck for ideas.

I'm developing a G/W splicers. Golems get vigilance, regenerate, trample, first strike, and if you need to fly cast a {leap of faith} on {precursor golem}. And {gavony township} is a great little pump on those pesky turns without much mana expenditure. :) and don't forget the splicer that gives +1/+1.

Very true he can be a double edged sword. I don't usually toss him out unless I have a good thing in the works. I usually keep a stave off or something of the like on hand before playing him.

{Withstand Death} will make all your golems indestructible
{Ranger's Guile}, {Apostle's Blessing} or {Stave off} work great with the precursor.

Any sort of growth (Titanic, Mutagenic, etc.) is also very nice, or {Mighty Leap} could be funny

Really, any card that targets one creature and draws you a card is good.

Hmmm, excellent point.  I never considered that until you mentioned it.
