Already so everybody gives rares and mythics a lot of talk and pauper accents the importance of commons but I think the coolest rarity by far is uncommon. What is your favorite?
{Swords to Plowshares} is a good uncommon.

{Fiend Hunter}, {Oblivion Ring}, {Boros Charm}, {Spell Snare}, {Lightning Helix}, {Hinder}.... the list of beautiful uncommons goes on and on.
Wow, umm.... Too many to list. Uncommons are the glue that hold a deck together. When I first started really building decks you found the rate or mythic that you had and liked then built around it using all the uncommons that meshed. They are the backbone of the game

Rancor is only uncommon in M13. It was originally common.

I'm not a legacy player, so I have to stick with what I know. {Kitchen Finks} and {Path to Exile} are up there in the modern format, and {Sol Ring} and {Sensei's Diving Top} are tough to beat in EDH.

I have always heard that when playing paper you just follow the MTGO rules. I could be wrong though...
