Don't know if there's a better place for the topic, but anyway:
Is {basalt monolith} good in an edh deck that doesn't have any infinite combos with it? What do people think? I'm trying to decide whether to keep it in my {roon of the hidden realm} deck.
Just a good card but you should have some way to untap it without paying for it.
{Unwinding Clock} should be in your artifacts EDH deck
It's not an artifact edh. :) it's roon of the hidden realm, so it's a blink creatures/etb triggers type of deck. Since in came with the preconstructed deck I'm trying to decide whether to keep it in there or not, and I think I'll take it out. I have no ways of untapping it without paying.

The answer is no, you have access to green so no need to run {Basalt Monolith} in your deck.
This question might be better served in the Commander area, considering it is a question directly related to your deck. It would also help to post a list that way one could find something that may fit better.
Playing basalt monolith on turn 3 lets you cast a 7 drop on turn 4. Basalt monolith is fantastic even if you don't run {Mana Reflections}, {Rings of Brighthearth}, or {Power Artifact}.
Also {Voltaic Key} is fun :)
