So I'm getting into modern and I want to build a fairly cheap deck, but I am getting a modern masters box for Christmas, so what deck would be interesting for me to play and fairly cheap with a good number of staples in modern masters? Jund seems cool, but expensive.
Storm is fairly inexpensive to build and a lot of the cards for it are in Modern Masters. Although, it is really hard to pilot and is much better with fetches.
Red Deck Wins, Reanimator, Izzet Skies, and Eggs are my favorites, if you're very budgeted you should go Skies ;)
I'm thoroughly enjoying my storm deck so far. You don't even absolutely need fetches, they just help give it that extra edge. Although, combo decks aren't for everybody.
Storm and affinity are what I'm leaning towards. I already have a bunch of affinity stuff.
Well if you're looking for a cheap(ish) deck for modern, storm is cheaper than affinity, but affinity is probably more competitive if you have all the parts.
Yea. It'll also depend on what I pull from my box.
Interesting idea. But so far what I have in relation to some of these ideas:
2 lightning helix
Steel overseer
Darksteel citadel
2 memnite
X myr overseer or whatever it's called
And even though they're banned, I have 1 of each of the artifact lands, and 3 seat of the synod.
