So I was wondering if anyone here collects a specific card, and why?
I'll start. I collect {maze's end}s! I like really random cards that most people think are unplayable (I have both a ninja deck and a norin the wary deck, thought neither of them are particularly amazing), and I also just think it's funny to see someone get to the last page of my binder and wonder why I have 7 maze's end sitting there. :D
What do you guys collect, and why?

I use to collect the egg cycle from odyssey... And those are the only foils I ever collected
They must have been awesome foils... Especially the UB one I'm guessing?
Promo {Ravenous Demon}s and any {Maze's End}. So far we have around 200 Promo Demons, and about 100 Maze's Ends. We had way more Mazes but my friend let our other friend hold on to all of 'em and he ended up trading off about 200 of them at a PTQ. We're still trying to work out something for them.
That's a lot of maze's ends.... Wow.
Who would want 200 though? And what did he get for them? You could actually get a lot for those...

He has little games he plays with cards in his binder, like a foil game, where you give him a foil, and there's 2 pages in his binder with flipped card stacks and you choose one of the stacks. Some of the stacks actually have value in them, so it's kinda cool. They were given away in some sort of game like this as "prizes". We didn't approve of this, so it kinda sucked.
Planeswalkers and full art/foil lands. Not EVERY planeswalker but the ones like {Ajani Goldmane} {Jace Beleren} {Nissa Revane} etc (Actually those are ones I don't have.. So if someone wants to work out a trade...) and I mean foily/artsy lands are great!
Umm, Moneekah and I collect fetchlands? :P nah, collecting one specific card wasn't my thing. I've seen someone with pages and pages of {Nightmare} but my person favorite was this guy at an LGS here who is collecting {goblin test pilot}

One of my friends collects goblin test pilots! :) I would have done that too, because they are so awesome, but he was already collecting them, so i did mazes end instead.

I found it hard not to collect {Lord of the Void} from Gatecrash. I think I pulled about 20 of those. Next in line would be {Lazav, Dimir Mastermind}.
{Relentless Rats} for obvious reasons. :P
I only have 9 so far but want at least 40 more!
I collect {Boros Guildgate}. This was before BBD made {Orzhov Guildgate} cool.
It became a thing to collect a playset of every {Pacifism}. But that got old as it has been te same art every time. My fav is definitely the Onslaught one. I had hopes of wanting every {Giant Spider} too but {G} has dropped off my radar the last couple of years.

I have long wanted to get a Giant Spider from every core set. Then for m13, I will take a {Towering Indrik}, grab a sharpie, and write "GODDAMN M13 GIANT FRICKEN SPIDER" on it.

When Avacyn Restored was released I was super excited to pull lots of angels. I bought about a pack a week that spring and those dang Souls kept wrecking my rare slot. When Avacyn rotated I continued buying up packs and still managed to pull em. I finally gave in and started hoarding them. All told I'm up 6.

I used to run a ferret shelter and these guys need a home. To many people discard the little vanilla artifact creature as useless, or even worse, it is the end of the night of draft and people are walking away leaving these poor innocent little creatures on the table to be homeless and without the good companionship of other warm magic cards for a home. Someone needed to step in and adopt all the little metal fuzzies...

Also, the foils plains were funny. Wizards gave out wurmcoil engine in scars and then they decide giving out mythics was a waste of money. So, opposite end of the rarity list-basic land! Wow, a foil PLAINS! Thanks wizards! :D

I collect the M13 Noah Bradley plains. It's <3. The one with monochrome yellow and the fluffy white clouds. =3 I have like a billion of them, but only one foil.

I do not currently have any power 9's. When I was ating alpha and beta there was no "power 9" got a few nightmares from bith sets thought. My playable sets collection start at 5th edition. Always looking for everything though if the card is right and the price is right. When it comes to the <2000 sets I only buy full sets at this point. >2000 i'll do card by card for what i need. It's actually not too bad if you wait post rotation to finish off the set on most cards before prices start going back up. Some cards you just have to shell out the dough.
