Title: Query Help
Post by: reezel on November 26, 2013, 02:49:26 PM
So I wanted to see if anyone could help me with the query/bookmark I am trying to create. I have a box of cards I call my commander box. This box has one of any extra cards I have beyond my normal play-set I collect. When I open a bunch of packs, I look at the commons/uncommons I have extra and see if they aren't in my commander box. The easiest way for me to do this in iMtg is to do a search of rarity: common and uncommon; set: M14(example); Binder: Not "Commander Box." The issue I am having with this query is it ignores if an old version of the card exists in my binder already. I already have a Pacifism from M13 in there already, so I don't want that to show up in my query. I've tried the Last Print Filter, but that doesn't help. I am guessing this is an answer for the advanced predicate, but am not familiar enough with it to know what to search for.

Just drop the Set out of your search.

Just drop the Set out of your search.
I'm not sure how that would help me find the cards in that set that are not in my binder.

Any advice on how to set up this search?

Then I'm not understanding you.
Pacifism has an M13 version.
You have a Pacifism M14 and want to know if it's in your commander binder.
Having the M14 set allows M13 Pacifism to satisfy (and not show) M14 Pacifism?
