I was just given my first job and its as a cashier at taco bell. What was your first job and or any experiences that you enjoyed at any of your jobs.
Congrats on the job! Now you can spend more money on Magic!
My first job I got two years ago at my local library and I work there still.
Edit: technically my first job was on my uncle's vineyard. I planted grape vines and fixed posts for two weeks during Spring Break but it wasn't really a legit job.
My first job was moving stuff for my uncle's company. I moved tools from one job site to another and I helped renovate offices when my uncle was hired to do those (he was a contractor) I worked for him once every couple weekends.
My first actual job (not just a day or two here or there) was a helper in the maintenance department at a Samuel's (the one I worked at sold rolls of sheet metal cut to sizes the customer needs)
Nice and that was my exact plan money in pocket=better cards in my decks. Lol and these are pretty cool. The only reason I have the job is because of my upbeat personality.

Congrats on landing your first job. My first job was a general laborer for Hanson construction.

Wasn't bad I was able to move out when I was sixteen and finished school through the vision program.
Congrats on getting a job! My first two jobs were Half Price Books and Taco Bueno. Loved HPB (pay was crappy but I loved the environment)and hated Taco Bueno lol... I came home smelling like tacos every night and my friends always tried to con me in to bringing them free food >_<
Lol it's always fun when females see you as a god. And I can't wait to officially start working.
My first "job" was actually in NJROTC... Where you don't get paid. Worked my ass off on schedules and updating the outdoor calendar for the school among many other things and no one really ever thanked me. Actually worked harder than both the commanding officers (long story) we had that year.
As for my first paying job, I haven't had one yet, unfortunately. Though I'm in school right now for Welding which has an entry level pay of about $25/hr, which is glorious. I can't wait, lol.
Yes my step father is a plumber and pipe fitter and has a lot of his certificate ions. And he makes BANK. he makes about 35/hr.
$15/hr doing CAD
Congrats!
I have never had a job I was really close I pretty much had one but then the group I was going to work for got kicked out of the building we were using and we had to fund ourselves completely( through fees and stuff like that)

I worked at a skating rink that I grew up at, loved it, got in free and got paid to be there instead of other way around.
And the chicks dig the employees, we were GODS.
That was fun years ago
Always wanted to work at a rink. Played hockey for 4 years now and training to become a referree if you count that :)
My first job was back in 95... As a short-order cook... That was back when minimum wage $4.25/hr and the business didn't bring in enough revenue, they didn't have to pay the minimum wage... I basically got the job to fund my Crack: the Gathering addiction. I had almost all the dual lands, a piece of the power9... Crazy times...
8$/hr cleaning tables, could be worse. :)

Best if my knowledge half price books is only in Washington?
Working as a kennel staff at a humane society for several months now. Smelly job, but it's fun!
My first job was for a department store called Ames (similar to K-mart back in the day). Had a bad flood in my town and I was hired on as night crew to redo the entire tile floor on the place. My knees hurt just thinking about it.
My first job was working in a supperette in the butcher dept. which I ended up doing all the aspects of that dept, and helping all the other depts when needed (deli, produce, stocking shelves).
Next job I got highered as a carpenters helper for a general contractor construction company. I got very good at the trade and was soon promoted to "carpenter" working alongside the other carpenters. I learned all the aspects of carpentry from "frame to finish". At that time I started doing solo work on the side.
Next in line I worked for myself with my own carpentry company for 2 years. I had a lot of fun doing this and being my own boss, but it comes with the consequences of constantly trying to find work and get the next job, which is not too hard when you take pride in your work and have a good relationship with your clients, but winters can be very slow here up north, which sucks when you have a house, wife, and 2 kids to provide for...
My current job that I finally landed is working for the emergency gas departments for the utility company Con Edison. It is a great career and a ton of fun. Our main priority is responding to gas leaks that people call in. I work down in the Bronx in NY, so that also makes it a lot of fun, you see A LOT of weird stuff in the city. Haha.
Well that's my speil, over and out!

Ames Iowa? As in mayhem comic shop?
Anyway mine was a homemaker in a small retirement home in Iowa, made 8.25 to serve food to old folk and do dishes. After a year of that they loved me, moved me to cook at 9.25. Cooked for 250 people daily by myself. Hated it. Now I'm in Omaha as a deli clerk, 8.50 and after three months my manager started me on deli manager training. Working on that now but ehhh idk if I want that, unsure.

I wish! But no. Like K-mart. That was back before Wal-Mart really took off and there was Ames, K-Mart, Super S, blah blah
My first job was enlisting in the Marine Corps when I was 18.. If that doesn't count, I worked at a bubble tea cafe earlier this year 😁

Not my first or second or even third job, but the USMC was by far the hardest job I ever had.
First job was teaching martial arts while I was still in highschool ... Way underpaid for the years of training it took to get to where I was when I was teaching.

You... Don't... Care... About...
The nerve of some people.
Well for one I don't fancy women. And for two, well...you're imagining perky, think more sag so low they drag along the ground.
He DID say boonies. I also remember a while back him stating he preferred the same gender, not that it matters much haha.
