Title: Wall of frost
Post by: respawned on November 25, 2013, 03:58:42 PM
If a creature is blocked by {wall of frost} and wall of frost dies, does the creature stay tapped next turn even thou wall if frost isn't on the board to cause it?

Guess thats what they call 'delayed triggered effect', the card states a true thing about the attacker, no matter if it is still on the board. It's like the attacking card gets a new line of text saying that it will not untap the next round

okay, was a bit confusing. i mean to say that if i attack with my {traveling philosopher} and my opponent declares his {wall of frost} as a blocker. i respond by casting {voyage's end} targeting his wall of frost. i know my creature has been declared as blocked but i feel like unless my philosopher's fist punches into the frosty wall, it shouldn't be frozen.

Wall is frost's ability is triggered when it is declared as a blocker, not when combat damage is delt. Reusing an old metaphor here, but it's the same principle. Once the arrow leaves the bow, it doesn't matter what happens to the archer.
