Can I drop a  {Dimir Aqueduct} turn 1?

Nope, you must return a land, if there are none out, you can not play the card without it returning itself.

You can still legally play it. You control that land when it enters so it would just bounce back you're hand.

^ this. It simply has to return itself to your hand if there are no other lands to choose to return. There are even combos based around this that can win turn 1 (involving {Fastbond} and the Zendikar Landfall mechanic)

Well I stand corrected, I mean I actually knew that but I figured there was no point in saying it because its useless to play a land that would just bounce back. I did not know about the {fastbond} trick though. That's pretty cool!

That is a pretty cool combo. Gotta love this game sometimes. Once you figure out a nasty card type combo... BOOM! There's lands you can do jt with that you would never even think about.
