For me I would splash either white or black just to have access to some life gain. Black gives you whip of erebos and white gives you sphinx and d-sphere. Always good fun. But that is me
Mono white lifegain... {Solemn Offering} {Path of Bravery} {Hopeful Eidolon} would all be good options.
I'm not exactly rich though, so a set of {Sphinx's Revelation} isn't going to be reality any time soon, if it was I'd definitely be building a very different deck!
Most of what I've put in this list is from pulls, and the cards I've had to buy cost me another £15, but I've not had chance to test it and I'm curious to what people think it will do against the dominant archetypes.
Played this last night with one change: -3 {Auramancer}, +3 {Judge's Familiar} in the main board and and -2 {Debtor's Pulpit} to make room for auramancers in the side. Also swapped 4 {martial law}s out for a pair of the {holy mantle}s and a pair of {gift of immortality}, and the sided spear in for the last mainboard auramancer, leaving 3 in the side.
Results: 2-0 vs boros lifegain, 2-0 vs another boros, heavy aggro, and 1-1 vs azorious aggro/control mix!
Overall I placed first, my first one ever!
The sphere did its work, and cool combos in use included the gift with the judges familiar or ajani's chosen, and heliod with the chosen was an awesome combo. One game I sat with two chosen, heliod and 8 lands, 6 tokens per turn! Couple of tunes after that I went all in with a brave the elephants and won.
I feel fortunate that I don't come up against any major emchantment hate, though one deck had 8 such cards in on the second round, all in all a good list for my local store!
