Yesterday was Noah's (imthelolrus) birthday. I got him a foil {Voidslime}, a {Consecrated Sphinx}, a {Dust Bowl}, as well as a pack of Planeshift. Also got him a couple non magic items.

The foil Voidslime is so pretty! He was definitely surprised by that. I had planned to get him a {Sylvan Library} but our LGS was sold out. :(

Honestly, if I were given a foil {Voidslime}, is build an EDH deck in those colors just to play it. Voidslime is so sweet. Any good pulls in the Planeshift pack? Foil {Eladamri's Call}??

Yeah it's great. Dissension, Gatecrash, M14 and Theros have some of the best foil work. I've got a bunch of shinies from every set. I think Torment or Commanders Arsenal are easily the worst.

Dude, (no pun intended), I just saw a foil {hundred handed one} yesterday... All I could say is... Wow!... One of the best looking foils!
I have {Medomai the Ageless} and {Gift of Immortality}. They're absolutely great. The foiling on the Gift blends perfectly with the art, it looks like it was designed to be that way. With Medomai, he/she just pops out of the blank background. I think they've really nailed the foils since Gatecrash. Doing some really great selective foiling.
I would be happy with just a foil {voidslime}! ;) i really want one of those, probably should get at least a non foil one for my bant commander deck.

Those are some really cool gifts! Anything shiny and magic related is automatically a good gift.
Voidslime is my favorite counter. That alone is a worthy gift.
