Hi all
this is my first Modern Deck, it is a net deck to get a feel for it then I will be making changes for more my style. I have posted this cos I would like to hear from some of the players that have played living end decks just to get a better idea of how to play it.

Thanks all for any time you can give :)

I'd play  {Spike Feeder} over brindle boar. Does the same thing but have additional effects

I would run 4 Beast within and only 7 cascade enablers. It is as consistent while also providing more reach against much more decks. You can even out a lot games with constant Beast Withins and still get away with 7 cascade cards.

A lot of good tips thanks all I will play around with it some more to get a better feel for it :) thanks again.

Deck update & tournament results:
So after getting all the cards together and making changes to the deck I took it to my first tournament, I placed 1st out of 37 players so very happy with the deck and how well I have gotten to know it. The decks & results were RW soul sisters 2-0, RG Tron 2-0, mono black 2-1 and last round Affinity 2-0.

I'd take out everything but your cycling and cascade things, so you can go off faster.

Ignore this, this isn't a insta win combo deck.
... Which is the only thing Taysby understands :P ;)

I'd say consider {Wound Reflection} and a side boarded {Havoc Festival} against White Weenie.

Those are both way too slow for modern, especially in a deck that doesn't want to play very many lands. Living End usually destroys white weenie, as does just about any board wiping deck

I was joking around, don't be so serious, lighten up, take a chill pill, Call me in the morning, so on and so fourth :P

I play modern a lot but never Aggro, so I don't really know how fast this deck is. I was just speculating as to what could potentially help, ;)

I don't have your number. Just because you were joking doesn't mean I don't find it funny. Isn't that why you were joking around?

It is a pretty fast aggro deck, but it is more combo than aggro. Put a bunch of creatures into the graveyard, cast a card with Cascade and get Living End. It usually plays up to 8 Cascade Spells.

The reason why this deck is good is because of Fulminator Mage and the other land destruction creature. They are the best cards to make this deck tier 1.

FNM results have been great I have come in first the last 6 weeks in a row! so the deck is profoming very will and I have really gotten to know it and the meta so over all very happy with it :).

It is a good mix of home brews and top decks there are Tron (blue and RG), robots, all the pods, scapeshift, the USA control and about 600 Jund decks. So yeah I good mix to play agents.

You can't: it costs {2}, so you risk cascading into it instead of {living end} off of {violent outburst} and {demonic dread}.

It can cost {3} and up since of how cascade works. Good choices against melira-pod include {faerie macabre} and {ingot chewer}, the latter of which works against kiki-pod too.

Also, why have only 3 of your win con?  Seems like you'd want 4...
The goal is not to cast {living end}, but to cascade into it with {violent outburst} and {demonic dread}. In your hand, it's usually a dead card.

Also, QUiT MAKING FUN OF ME!  (I just noticed). ;)
That's what {Ingot Chewer} is for I can also sand bag them by cycling say 4 cards then cast {Living End} then after they exile my dudes I cycle 4 more before living end resolves so still getting 4 big beaters.

Deck updated: finally updated the sideboard I have removed {Shriekmaw} + {Spike Feeder} and have add {Beast Within} + {Gnaw to the Bone}, now the numbers could be wrong maybe 3 beasts and 2 gnaws would be better but I'll just have to try it out and see how it goes

FNM results: so it finilly happen after 7 weeks 1st lost in the last round ended up 3rd not a bad result given everyone at my local is now packing a sideboard to shut out living end lol but it had to happen.

Time to change it up.

What hate are they packing? Also, adding {Beast Within}s and {Fulminator Mage}s would let you keep them off lands, and most likely hate.

{Rest in Peace}, {Leyline of the Void} and {Relic of Progenitus} This is the main hate I VSed and I played around most of it very well I feel.

I do agree about the {Beast Within}s and {Fulminator Mage}s that's why I will be adding them to the main borad for next week, I have enjoyed the rush living end but I like the land D version better more stable plays.
