{progenitor mimic}
Ok so lets say I have something like door of destinies letting the first mimic enter as a 1/1 and I choose to not copy anything. Then I play the second mimic copying the first mimic. Every turn I should get a {progenitor mimic} copy right? But now the mimic says I can have it enter as a copy of a creature on the battlefield. Would that mimic be pumping out copies that I could turn into whichever creature out there I feel like?
For example:
T1: mimic enters as a 1/1
T2: mimic enters as a mimic copy
T3: mimic copy enters as storm crow
T4: mimic copy enters as emrakul
T5: mimic copy enters as blue eyes white dragon
And so on. Does that work?!
Yes it works.
No. You only generate copies if you copy a creature - the Mimic doesn't have the text unless it copies.
Edit:
Sorry, misread. Yes, that works.
I believe you can, but the tokens won't multiply because it says if this creature isn't a token

The first one wont but the second did choose to copy and does have the token ability

i know that but the second mimic will be pumping copies of the first mimic who technically can enter as a copy of a creature so I could copy an enemy's battlefield over a few turns xD

Yeah, I misread. Already edited my post. Didn't see that he played a second one. :-X
