Combo deck. If you have one of the 2 mana altars, 6 shadowborn apostles, comander, and something like {bitter ordeal} or {exanguate} somewhere in your hand or library, no doubt you will win. Just keep usung graveyard recursion to keep bringing back all your cratures and runescared demon, sac them, and repeat.

There is so much synergy between the cards besides the main combo, i still learn something new each time i play.

I love decks like this. Reminds me of my first EDH deck ever, {Ghave, Guru of Spores}.

Yea, I can tottaly see the similarities.

This deck only has 2 demons, and instaid focuses on the fact that you have 35 black ({balthor the defiled}) human cleric ({patriarch's bidding}) 1/1 ({Immortal Servitude}) non-token ({faith's reward} {no rest for the wicked} {second sunrise}) creatures with the same name ({thrumming stone}).

To take full advantage of creatures dropping like flys, and many of these cards play off eachother very well, we have {xathrid necromancer}, {blood artist}, {ogre slumlord}, {rotlung reanimator}, {Harvester of souls} and of course, {Teysa, Orzhov Scicon}.

To keep killing our creatures. We have {ashnod's altar}, {phyrexian altar}, and {skullclamp}.

{Bitter ordeal} and {exsanguinate} are how you win the game.

And beside a few things like {lightning greives}, {unburial rites} and lands, that covers the entire deck. Because of the shadowborn apostles, this deck has very little space for even things like game wrecking demons.

Have you considered {Cathars' Crusade}? Since you're making a ton of tokens and reanimating a ton of small guys at once.

Edit: That or {Soul Warden}

Glad to help! Let me know if you're interested in trying it in a wall game. EDH is my favorite format.

{Darkest Hour} makes your commander a combo machine.

{Darkest Hour} makes your commander a combo machine.

{darkest hour} is in the deck. Unfortunatly, {Painter's Servant} is banned in commander, then we could actualy exile their stuff with her ability.
