What do you pay to get your trades out the door?
What is your expected time table for what is fair?
I send my packages 3-5 days first class with tracking numbers for $2.97 per package
But I want to know what you guys do?
I posted for you earlier today in the post office rant thread.
It depend on the sale. When I sell online from our website it's always first class with the option of a tracking number for the customer.
If it's for a friend or someone outside the business usually just standard unless it's an expensive trade.
I just slap a stamp on and include my own insurance. If something happens to the card(s), I'll replace them. For more expensive trades (generally $50+) I use bubble mailers just because that's potentially a lot to drop on replacement cards. Unfortunately, my post office has now decided that bubble mailers new to be first class parcels, and it costs me like six bucks :-\. The people that work there are idiots, though...
I usually just throw on a $1.10 stamp for mail to the US (I'm from Canada). Sometimes I'll use two if it's a bit thicker, but so far no issues with delivery time or anything.
Small security envelope with a forever stamp 46 cents for most trades. With big trades/large number of cards gets mailed in a bubble mailer & tracking. I think it's about 3$ both options are 1st class and generally get there around the same time I think.
What's most important to me is that I do my best to get the cards out quickly so they have a new home and get to see some play :)
I usually wrap the toploaders in computer paper and use a forever stamp if it weighs less than an ounce, I don't ever go over two ounces though.
This is what I use to ship. I can send a padded mailer for around 1.69 with tracking.
