Is unflinching courage in there just because of Cyriad? For me I would take that would and run underworld connections as more draw power. I'm also a huge fan of the {kalonian hydra} in jund decks because they have acess to counters more easily than most colors IMO.  I would also consider {whip of erebos} in here as well just as another source of life gain and to bring back some creatures. I would side the returns as well

I have two desecration demons if you haven't made this deck yet and don't have the demons.

Changed out the unflinching courage cards for the whip. I would run Kalonian, but too many run counters for him at my place.

Went ahead and added the kalonians and dropped 1 xenagos and 1 Cerberus. Kalonian will be good in 90% of the situations

Any suggestions on how to improve this? Thoughtseize is out of the question right now due to people not want to let go of the ones they have.

So far the only decks I have had trouble with is aggro

How had your land flow been? With only 20 land and then having 5 drops makes it interesting. For me I would drop the 3 returns and put in 3 land. That might help against Agro and getting the lands for the kill spells. Maybe throw in doom blade as well?

The land flow had been working for he most part. As long ad I get a caryatid out.

If you don't have the caryatid then you're in a deep hole it would seem.

{Mistcutter Hydra} is nice as there seems to be a lot of blue in standard ATM.

Doesn't {Underworld Cereberus} mess with both Scooze and Whip?

It does, but it helps with other people running for stuff from their graveyards. Most of the time I am holding onto them until they deal with the ooze

Drop doom blades on sideboard for putrefry or devour flesh

Also possibly add in skullcrack for sideboard also

This will allow you to counter brave the elements and any protection spells and also stopping excessive life gain

Consider rakdos charm and golgari charm also

Protection says prevent all damage.
Skull crack says damage can't be prevented

In the world of MTG can't always overrules can
