{unflinching courage} and {boros reckoner} unlimited life? If I dealt damage back to boros?
As long as he is indestructible, yes.
You could also do it with archangel of thune if it's only 1 damage.
I could use {ready // willing}. But why would he need to be indestructible? If he keep dealing damage to him self the cycle should still process, cause every time he is dealt damage he gains life
What do you mean with archangel?
Every time he deals damage to himself it will be marked on him, after he hits lethal amounts he dies. To stop that from happening, he must be indestructible. However, if {archangel of thune} is on your battlefield, and he is only dealt 1 point of damage, cycling the damage will give him a counter for every point he deals, infinite life without the use of indestructible.

You gain the life, not him. Once enough damage is marked on him, he will die unless he is indestructable.
This combo has been around for a while, in various different methods, you should check them out.
{Boros charm} is another indestructible viable option.
How does the game end then? Does the opponent usually scoop then?
Well when your life total is 999 dodecatillion, unless they have a game plan on milling you out, they kind of don't have a chance.
Couldn't you use both parts of {ready // willing} to pull off the combo?

You can indeed. It's definitely a good idea. Makes a 3 card combo into a 2 card combo.
That's nice. You know how many times I have had boros out and a { ready // willing} in my hand and 6 land open. Could have won the game there multiple times in a tournament and never realized it
When gatecrash first came out people were using {Boros Reckoner} {Boros Charm} {Azorius Charm} and a damage spell like {Pillar of Flame} it's a lot of cards to rely on an honestly isn't that easy.
It worked fairly well. {snapcaster mage} meant tge charms used for regular game play can be snapped back for combo when convenient. You opponent usually does the damage for you.
I think {ready // willing} would be best. Cause you only need 2 cards. It's definitely viable in every game. As long as you can get six lands, which happens 90% of the time in my decks because of sylvan

Just remember that it is an instant. Be sure first to like assign blocks on their turn or let them assign blocks or something so that something will be dealing damage to your reckoner (or if they cast a burn spell or something on reckoner), then respond with a fused {Ready // Willing}.
Wow, an actual way to gain unlimited life in standard, that's it, boros track ones n my pure red devotion into white red and + add indestructability, it will work

Well there's always my good friend Master of Cruelties
That is an option yes, but if the opponent doesn't have that, yea, scooping is pretty much your only option.
Or just use VRASKA to win! ^_^
