Any ideas on how to improve this? Don't think I will need the pithing needles, but you never know.
This is actually really close to what I run. I have 4 sphinx and 1 elixer mb. I have found that yes you do need the needle against GR super friends. I also have a full play set of doom blades SB. How well do you fair against mono blue and the mirror? I only ask because I don't see any gainsay. I also have found that thoughtseize doesn't do me much good either. Could be a meta thing.
I run four jace mb. he's never a dead draw and can really help you dig out answers.
If argue for {Ultimate Price} instead of {Devour Flesh} but that's bc my meta is filled with white weenie Aggro so for them to sac a creature is pointless whereas spot removal is great!
Also it's Esper that's what you have built that's what everyone's Esper list runs like there's really nothing we can do to help bc Esper is Esper is Esper the biggest decision 3 vs. 4 Sphinx lol
Hardly anyone runs aggro at my shop. Ya thoughtseize is kind of a dud most of the time. Mono blue is a hit and miss. 50/50. Mirror I side in the jace and it usually takes care of itself. Going to drop the thoughtseize for gainsay. Would help my odds against mono blue. Thanks for the advice.
Look at the GP Vienna list he's sbed {Pack Rats} to switch up his strategy!!
Can't decide what I would drop for pack rats lol
Look at his list

I do agree here with jace. He is another powerful force to deal with inmediatly other wise it's just bad news for you. His slot in sideboard can be used for negate
Buddy of mine runs archangel of thune and elspeth as win cons over bloodbaron... He wins every week

Thune is waaaaay to easy to remove I agree with BBoV and Elspeth although I still think that {Aetherling} is THE best finisher in Standard
There is a chick at my LGS that runs an orzhov aggro SB it's really interesting to watch. She sides out 15 and brings in creatures and laughs all the way to the bank most times.
Take out 1 {Azorius Charm} and use 3 {Blood Baron of Vizkopa}

No offense but just no ... Az. Charm makes Esper IMO you can cycle at instant speed if its a dead card, or more importantly you can return their big fat creature to the top of their library which 1. Wastes their next draw, 2. Sets them back a turn.
So all in all please please please do not cut an Az. Charm
