How would {Kalitas, bloodchief of ghet} be as a commander?
Seems cool. Tribal vampires. One idea would that would be cool to do, is play all the vampire lords (+1 dudes) and actually target one of your smaller vampires (non-token) with his ability, it dies, you get a token the size of the old vampire when it died (the lord buffs and all) and then the lord buffs apply to it.
I think if is how it works, though I'm not 100% certain. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Although even if I am, repeatable removal with an upside like that is amazing.

So sac a small vampire while {bloodlord of vasagoth} is on the field so the token comes onto the field with bloodthirst? That's a sick idea.
You never "cast" tokens. But if you cast another small vampire, then have like, {Lord of Lineage} buff him, target your small dude with Kalitas, then get a bigger token. But I'm not sure when Kalitas checks for P/T, if it checks before going to the grave, it works. If it checks after, then it doesn't.

I'll ask in the rules section

It would be the last known power/toughness seen on the battlefield of the creature in question. If it died as a 10/10, your token is a 10/10. If it died as a 1/1, you get a 1/1.
Love this guy as a mono black commander, btw.

Do you have a deck I could get ideas from, or any suggestions?
