Why is {Chandra, pyromaster} so pricey? I have two and don't really have anything to put em in, but would like to throw em in something.
It's a planes walker and it's made for a red deck wins / burn she deals fast damage
She provides a way for red to continually "draw" extra cards with virtually zero downside (trololo, zero downside for a 0). As I understand she's sheen play in a couple of Legacy decks as well, for that sole ability. If I had some, I'd play 1-2 in my UWR Control list in Standard.

Honestly traded for a foil one just because the foil art is so damn pretty haha. I run her in EDH just because I have her. Really not all that great. Still my favorite Chandra rendition, though. Chandra has gotten some pretty awful cards for a pretty interesting character.
Tried her in my Izzet Burn, not too great. RDW I can understand, but not much else. I might run her if we still had {Thunderous Wrath}.
You guys realize you still have to pay mana for the card with her 0 ability, right? And EoT if you don't cast it, it's exiled forever.
Yes but:
1. You can play land for turn from it
2. It's RDW so you can use your burn that you flipped
3. She costs {2}{R}{R} and in RDW if you have something that cost more than that you're wasting your time lol

With her ultimate you are hoping to get something to win for you. Most likely it won't be an auto win. I'm not saying her ultimate sucks, it's actually really good, but not as good as {domri rade}'s ultimate.

Agreed. Seems like Legacy drives the card prices the most. {True-Name Nemesis} is a prime example.
