Title: "Epic" midnight snack quest
Post by: Vileo on November 10, 2013, 01:57:04 AM
Ok so, I got home from my LGS today at like, 11. I was super hungry because I'd only eaten a can of soup before I left the house. I look in the fridge and notice some hot dogs in a ziplock behind a big jar of jalapenos. The bag had been there for like, two months because that was the last time I'd seen it, so I throw it out, then I'm like, "I REALLY want some hotdogs now...," and we have some in the freezer, but we don't have any buns. So I decide to go to Food Lion since I haven't really settled in yet. Then I get there. And it sucks. Because Food Lion closes for the night. Then I'm just like, "I REALLY want hot dogs...," so I suck it up and drive to Walmart. I almost back into a street cleaner in the Walmart parking lot (Because it's like, 11:35 at this point and there are no magical faeries to clean the walmart parking lots when we aren't looking) even though I'm really good at backing up, I was trying to get out of someone's way, etc. So yeah. It's been like an hour and a half since I finished eating, but they were so good. I also got a pack while I was at walmart, for the heck of it. Nothing exciting. {Read the Bones} and {Polis Crusher}. RtB is going in my Oloro deck, though.

Anyway, has anyone else gone on night time snack quests? o3o
(Random, I know, but whatever.)

And, before anyone says anything about waiting an hour after you eat to go to bed, I'm normally awake until like 4 AM anyway (It's 2 AM now).

I went on a quest for some PCS a month ago and ended up with Yoohoo, Dunkaroos, Coke, and hot fries.

"PCS"?
None of that sounds bad though, but most of it I wouldn't eat normally.
Also, I don't know why, but I've been drinking OJ like it's liquid crack for some reason. Been drinking on this glass since midnight.

I guess I'm lucky. Where I live nothing closes. So if I want a hot dog I go to a Vienna joint or what ever random food I want. Lately I have been stopping for a burrito on my way home after midnight.

I usually bring food to tourneys so that in the last round while others are distracted by hunger in the back of there minds I can give the match my full attention

Move to a big city. That's one of the pro. My city also leads the nation in deaths too.

or move out here to the country, but a gun, and stand very still in your backyard. Can bag your own dinner of squirrels and small birds if you are desperate.

I was surprised I found some. I didn't even know they were still in production.

When I drive out of town for Fnm I hit up Panda Express, but back in the partying days nothing beat 4am jack in the box monster tacos.

Oh regional stores, why you no?

Recently when going to FNM I've been hitting up Subway, though. Just get a $5 foot long and put a little bit of (almost) everything on it. As long as you're not picky, it's very filling.
