I just created a Standard Bant Hexproof deck, tweaking it every chance I get, and I'm wondering how it would do against an Esper or a RDW....what do you guys think? Could Bant Hexproof be a contender in Standard right now?
Things that are hexproof are the best answer. You should check out kaleos build on the forum. He got top 8 states and tops fnm each week with it
Sorry I don't know how to Link it though
Bumped it for ya, its called states bantchantments
I just realized thats not the same thing as hexproof builds
-facepalm
Sadly, I'm not spending my soul on Voices &/or Sphinx's Revs.
This is mine so far:

I'm a big fan of acended lawmage
Why no {unflinching courage} or {ethereal armor}?
Big fan of {aqueous form} also
I've beaten RDW with my G/W hexproof, but I've never tried against Esper.
You'll probably want {Rootborn Defenses} to deal with Esper's {Supreme Verdict}.
Had Aqueous Form main board, then took it out since it wasn't that fabulous. May sideboard. And I like Ethereal Armor, but not as much as I like Divine Favor. May add in Unflinching Courage....what should I take out?
Rootborn or ready // willing are a must one or the other. If you don't generate tokens ready and willing is your best bet makes your creatures indestructible and untaps them.
On what to take out I'll browse
Re-added in Aqueous Form. I like Ready//Willing since I'm not generating tokens. Helps?
Morally I shouldn't offer any advice, as I hate hexproof decks :P even worse that my standard deck is 24 slots of removal. Good thing I have {Glaring Spotlight} in the board for you, you big jerk!
{Prognostic Sphinx} is the bane of my existence. If you don't have it already because it's not hexproof unless you toss cards, you may want to reconsider. The body lives through my {Mizzium mortars}, 3 power flying, and so much scry. This card wrecks me.
I do highly recommend {Unflinching Courage} as well, it's near impossible to keep pace with on a creature like Witchstalker or a monstrous Fleecemane.
Well I hate Esper NOW, even though I used to like it, because of all the jerks that run it at the shop. SO I'M MAKING THINGS TO MAKE THEM CRY!
Eff them.
Sphinx instead of Ascended Lawmage maybe?

That would work. Just make sure you have something generate a little hand. Isn't there some creature that lets you draw when you gain life? Bant colors?
I have the Ordeal of Thassa and I could sideboard some Divinations.

Good thing I have Naturalize sideboarded to deal with your Glaring Spotlight ;) and Ratchet Bombs
I may throw together a build when I get off work and see what you think

You're thinking of {Horizon Chimera}, which is the other way around.
How about {gladecover scout}?

Poo
I (and I think Agrus Kos) run GW Hexproof and so far it's alright vs Esper but they have {Detention Sphere}a that just wreck your enchantments and you need the life gain from {Unflinching Courage} bc once they drop that {Desecration Demon} it's hard to deal with unless you have a {Selesnya Charm}.
Lastly, Mutavualt is a must have I play 2 MB, 2 SB bc when they force you to sac you need that on the field to easily avoid saccing your buffed {Witchstalker}
Okay, I just did a major face-lift to my deck: Added {Unflinching Courage} as a mainboard 4-of, Added back in a 4-of {Aqueous Form} for the Unblockable & Scry, Took out {Ordeal of Heliod} & {Wasteland Viper}.......
What about sideboarding a few {Planar Cleansing}? Also, should I add in a 4-of {Detention Sphere} so that I can deal with Planeswalkers that way?
I like {Gladecover Scout} in place of {Centaur Healer} and {Ethereal Armor} in place of {Divine Favor}.

Well, Centaur Healer is okay, but it doesn't have hexproof and is vulnerable to removal while gladecover scout has a smaller body but is difficult to remove. (And I would not worry about the small body anyway as you plan to enchant her) And I prefer ethereal armor because I have seen this beast in modern, it is absolutely essential in an aura deck like this, IMO.
Not to speak for her but with my GW Hexproof I want as much pressure as possible ASAP. And a T1 Gladecover into a T2 enchantment (I like {Ordeal of Nylea} personally} into a T3 {Unflinching Courage} to swing for 5 Tample Lifelink Hexproof then next turn you get 2 more lands! It's just great!! And {Ethereal Armor} just makes it that much better its a one-drop enchantment that usually gives your creature +2/+2 or higher! :D
Yep, the lower CMCs are a big help as well. Gladecover Scout is a boss one drop.
I once one with a 1 land hand bc I had Gladecover and 3 ethereal a in hand lol T1 GS T2 Ethereal swing 2 T3 another Ethereal swing 5 T4 third Ethereal swing 10 and then T5 swing lethal and have it Trample with Sel. Charm
Word, well I've made the replacements. I still need to tweak it more so that almost everything is a 4-of....
I suggest running 4 of Gladecovers Fleecemanes and Witchstalkers and maybe 2 Prognasty Sphinxes that's it for creatures the rest should be a combo of auras and spells
Smiters might find a better home in your sideboard, IMO. And the lawmages CMC is too high for my liking, maybe just a 2 of if you really want to run them. I think you should run more auras.
This is a solid deck though. I love Bant!

:D The only problem I have with the Sphinx is that I don't have many things that let me draw.....so I run out of cards when I'm trying to make him Hexproof.
Updated again:

True so maybe just run those 3 as 4-ofs also I run 4x {Elvish Mystic} to help me get a T2 Witchstalker or even to just get out my enchantments faster. Ill bump my GW Hexproof deck in Standard for you to look at. (Also my deck has a lot of jankiness in it like {Prowlers Helm} and {Mending Touches} lol)
I also had Mending Touch, but I took it out since it didn't add as much value as I would've liked.
Wait on those wrath why not {divine reckoning}

It's a Standard deck
Lol, that would be awesome though!
Sideboarding my {Supreme Verdict}s and mainboarding 4 {Detention Sphere}s since they will help me against Planeswalkers AND other spells. I'll mainboard in Supremes for creature-based decks.
This may work
