Any thoughts?
Sideboard that spell with cipher that changes color of the word to go against gods
Maybe some red sources to cast entering?
{Traumatize}???
Thanks guys, definitely will SB {Trait Doctoring}. I dont know about the splash of red for entering... Just too much mana i think when breaking is 8 cards for two, any other mill players play the entering half? And as soon as i posted this deck i remembered {Traumatize} and already added it.
There's better ways to deal with Gods see {Curse of Swine} it's less restrictive {Trait Doctering} sucks so I'd use CoS personally
Going to have to go with {Curse of the Swine}, {trait doctoring} is really only going to help to stop a god block during first main phase, then just really affecting {Consuming aberration} after that. When i pass the turn after cipher, devotion will be back.
Exactly :) plus CoS works against other decks like creature heavy decks all you do is CoS them all the {Ratchet bomb} lol BUT CoS works against your Cons. Aberration unfortunately since it exiles
Yeah, too bad {fling} isn't still standard. Loved it with my {Consuming Aberration}

I would let him sit grinding off cards, as soon as he got targeted i would {fling} was so nice....
Y aren't u running {duskmantle Guildmage} and {mirko vosk}? And crypt incursion should be sideboard
{Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker} is too expensive. Get the same effect with a couple {Deathcult Rogue} with {Hands of Binding} and {Paranoid Delusions} with {Consuming Aberration} on the board without possibilty of getting blocked for damage. {Duskmantle Guildmage} is SB now but trying to stay light on creatures. Waiting to run it to see how many cards i'm milling in turn 4 and 5 before i committ to him.
Would rather have two {Consuming Aberration} than just one Mirko for 5
This could be expensive to do but I enjoyed the combo when I did esper mill. I would put stolen identity on my unblockable creature and clone the aberrations. Trigger and it only gets worse as the game goes. A lot of fun when invisible stalker was still around.

Smart combo + mill = +1
I love {stolen identity} but at six i should be close to complete mill after CA is in play. Trying to figure out adept but i can get 8 with breaking instead of 10 with for 5 with him
Reworking to fit kills and cancels. Matteo got it right i think. Mill starts with control

Glad to help :)
My deck can have a very easy win turn six with {jace memory adept}s second ability and {duskmantle Guildmage}s first twice

Don't get me wrong, i'm running {Duskmantle Guildmage} in my mill deck right now and he's awesome and cheap. I'm really tring to scale back to full control/mill Almost no creatures.

Now you're speaking like a Mill player! I'd actually cut all creatures other than {Omenspeaker} if you run it and {Consuming Aberrarion}
No Ashiok?

No Ashiok?
{ashiok} will probably be in my next mill deck that won't have any creatures, back pocket way to get some.
In light of how few permanents you have, {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx} feels like a poor fit here?

You think? I was thinking 3 creatures out gives me 6 mana for the the cost of three.
{Far // Away} should be an auto include in any dimir deck. It's just too good

Always have 2 creatures in mill 1 being {AEtherling}
The other being {Omenspealer}
At least those have worked for me

Ok, i'm serious missing something on {æertherling} yes awsome card, but I just don't see the set up for it at it's mana cost. Can you give an example of a scenario so i can it's use in late game standard?
Control Mill is good you can get them down to a very low library but if they {Elixir of Immortality} you need a second win con. Hence {AEtherling} only drop when you have 8 mana though bc you need protection then it's almost game over as {Aetherling} is nearly impossible to remove

Ok, starting to see what your talking about. That's exacyly the the sideboard i need to try to put in my "hopefully" no creature mill. Cause i think i'm going to have to SB creatures. Working on Modern Mill to bring in {mind funeral} and {glimpse the unthinkable}
No don't SB Aetherling alway mb but as a 2 of
