So since gorzo has made the new game type, "Zombie Horde", I thought it would be fun for the people of the forum to come together with thier ideas and make an effective deck that could work well against the horde.
Any combos, starting colors, or themes to the deck would all be taken from suggestions you guys and gals leave.
Together, the horde doesn't stand a chance!
I think it's easier than you would think. Between four players, I think there are enough resources to go toe-to-toe with them

I was thinking more like, if someone wanted to take on the horde by themselves.

teamwork is always better than being a loner, but if you HAVE to go at them alone may I suggest {darin, king of kjeldor} + {soul warden}
Although that may be a combo that takes away the fun of the format
Essintaly. All damage to you will be cancled out, and you'd gain soldiers every time you would be damaged for each damage you would have recieved. Then you can overwhelm the hoard. You don't even have to block and would be better off not blocking

No fast combos in the rules.
Maybe 2 defender decks and 2 Aggro decks?

Mill would be fast because the deck takes damage in mill. First turn their life total could go, effectively, from 93 to 88 with a tome scour
{Duskmantle Guildmage} would win the game too
{Moat} :)
Control. Esper would work well. Make a mill heavy Esper Control deck with big blockers/beaters like {Aetherling} and {Hover Barrier}, board wipes, mill and {Sphinx's Revelation}s.

I made a horde deck ages ago but no one ever wants to play against it with me! I have yet to test it out!!
