I'm trying to build a budget deck with {Nekusar, the Mindrazer} as commander ideas please?
Opponent hand control (like {Telepathyi} and then forced dscards (like {Duress}), cohesion (like {Act of Aggression} then sacing ({Attrition}). Just initial thoughts.
Actually, the best Nekusar deck uses {Windfall}, {Jace's Archivist}, {Jace Beleren}, {Wheel of Fortune}, {Grafted Exoskeleton}/{Basilisk Collar} (Life gain/poison counters when opponents draw), {Howling Mine}, {Font of Mythos}, etc. Literally ALL the "group hug" draw stuff. Maybe even stuff like {Black Vise}, {Shrieking Affliction}, etc to punish people's hands even more.
I'll post my deck so you can look at it, it was made kind of fast but it looks good and it's pretty cheap.
{Teferi's Puzzle Box} is my favorite card in my nekusar deck, it just gets out of control.

Edit: {Phycosis Crawler} (I forgot spelling} is good too! Oh and {Leyline of the Void}, so nobody can shuffle their yard into their library! And if you have that, why not add {Helm of Obedience} for brokenness!? Ok I should stop talking
I would be very careful with {Phyrexian Tyranny} I would much rather play {Underworld Dreams} because with the amount of damage your dealing to the table, expect to quickly be public enemy number 1, needing all the life you have.
Ah yes, can't believe I forgot {Underworld Dreams}! Anyways in my opinion if you are public enemy number one, you might as well not hold back!
Speaking of not holding back, any mass bounce spell) + a windfall type spell = great times! (Throw in a reverberate type spell for extra lols)
Also cloning {Jace's Archivist} multiple times and mass activation for tons of damage... Run {Necropotence} - draw a lot of cards to ensure huge damage from this type of gameplan, just be sure to run an eldrazi that can reshuffle your graveyard back into your library to avoid decking yourself.
Ohh I like your thinking! Plus with {Necropotence}, you wom't suffer any draw damage from {Spiteful Visions} or any such effect. I have another fun idea: {Hive Mind}. In a 4-player game, casting {Windfall} with {Hive Mind} out makes EVERYONE cast a copy of it, making everyone discard and draw a ton of cards! Especially if you just got a bunch of cards off of {Necropotence}! ;)
