was playing edh and this happend. i had {contamination} and one of my opponents had a {chromatic lantern}. should his lands be able to produce any color if his lantern came out after my contamination, or does timestamp not matter in this case?

His lands all tap for {B} but he can still tap the lantern for any colour
Yup. The replacement effect trumps any mana tapping of lands.

If your lands are plains contamination still says they tap for black and worse yet now you can only spend black as colorless mana.
