{basalt monolith} + {mesmeric orb}
So what can you do with this combo?
Troll people at game day. "Lolololol I lose!"

So what can you do with this combo?
{laboratory maniac} or{psychic spiral}
There's also flashback and decks that use the graveyard
If you used any graveyard interaction, you could use {necropotence} or something like that so you wouldn't draw

you wouldn't be able to use that with {laboratory maniac} though
Cannot think of it, but I believe there is a card that says if you cannot draw you win the game
There are also spells and creatures that can only be played from your graveyard, or that you can play it for free if you mill it.
There is also the oldie but goodie {gaea's blessing} and {wheel of sun and moon} which can be worked into the combo.
Also there are the Atog critters.... Which can benefit quite well from that, and the dredge ability of several critters.
So that self mill combo can be quite useful...
Edit: basic combo I gathered from the soap box speech above is to use {basalt monolith} and {mesmeric orb} in conjunction with {gaea's blessing} to use in a dredge creature deck, as you can control the number of times you mill yourself, and the {gaea's blessing}s ensure you will not mill yourself out.
You could use it dredge style: Cheat out 3 {Narcomoeba}, then use them to flashback a {Dread Return} getting {Angel of Glory's Rise} to reanimate {Laboratory Maniac} and {Azami, Lady of Scrolls} to win.
Seems legit
