We have had three counts of the same person scamming people out of the Fresno, CA area. If you make a trade with someone and they give you a Fresno, CA address, it is suggested that you contact me with the address before you send so I can tell you whether or not it is the same address as the thief from that area. This person goes by Joseph or Joey, and they went by MetalMadMan/Thatoneguyjoey/plainswalker666 on here.
We are trying to cut down on people being scammed and we need you, as members of this community, to exercise some precautions to make that happen. These are posted all over the forums but I will highlight some tips for safe trading here as well:
1. If it's too good to be true, then it is. Be cautious.
2. We have a middleman service for higher trades. It'll take you longer to get your cards but you know they won't be stolen by some scumbag.
3. I've personally collected a list of known scammer's addresses. Please please please take the five seconds it takes to conduct a PM and PM me any addresses you may feel are suspicious.
4. Don't trade what you can't afford to lose.
