I made this deck a while back, but after test playing it (for about a second), I realized that it wasn't up to snuff when it came to Standard. So I've revised it and I love it now!
The opening hand really dictates which win con I decide to go with, but Varolz is my main dude in this deck. Let me know what you guys think! (By the way, I'm still looking for 3 more Desecration Demons *hint hint*)

maybe consider {Dark Betrayal} in the sideboard to replace doom blade in a black matchup

also maybe {Ratchet Bomb} or {Naturalize} in the side board to take care of {Rest in Peace} cause that card would render your deck powerless. ratchet bomb would have better value against elspeth or other token generators

I actually thought about putting Ratchet Bombs in here!
Just wondering, do u find that {varolz, the scar striped}, {scavenging ooze}, and {deathrite shaman} work against eachotherhaving so many things to target the graveyard and not a lot of ways of getting things in there besides {lotleth troll}?
{Grisly Salvage}. Makes Deathrite 100x better and feeds Varolz.

My opening hand decides the condition I'll run with for the win. If I get Scoozes, I run them and use Lotleth to discard practically everything else. If I get Deathrites, I run them. So it doesn't seem synergistic, but it actually works pretty well :) I just can't be greedy!

I'm tellin' ya! This deck needs Salvage. I absolutely LOVE that card. It's so OP with Shaman and Ooze, and with Varolz in the mix, geez... 😲

I'd say:
-1 {Doom Blade} (Too restrictive, yet still amazing)
-1 {Varolz, the Scar Striped} (Legendary Rule)
-2 {Read the Bones} (Trust me, Salvage will do almost the same thing you want Bones to do, I've done extensive playtesting with Bones, 70% of the time it's a dead card. Move it to the sideboard for control match-ups)
+4 {Grisly Salvage} (You'll want 4, it's that good. In this deck it's straight up ridiculous.)
You've sold me salesman.....it will go back in!
Maybe add a whip in case you go to late game and your running out of creatures to cast.

Tried running Vraska; can't ever seem to get her out fast enough to do much. But I LOVE HER <3

I run {Elvish Mystic} to solve this problem.
