Title: Angelic Accord
Post by: Jdogtoocool on October 29, 2013, 09:14:10 AM
 {Angelic Accord}

Does it have to be in play in order to recognize that I've gained the 4+ life this turn. For example this came up in a game:  {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice}, {Advent of the Wurm} in play. I go to cast angelic accord and opponent uses kill spell to destroy trostani. In response I populate the wurm gain the 5 life, trostani is destroyed, angelic accord resolves. EOT get a 4/4 angel?

I wouldn't think so. It just checks if you've gained 4 life when your turn ends. Doesn't seem like it would have to be

Nothing in it's ability requires that you control the enchantment in order to start the count on lifegain.

The simple check is at end step did you gain 4+ life this turn? If you did then you get an angel.

Alright thanks guys. I'm going to get a light blue dice to indicate the count on how many life points I've gained each turn. Kind of how storm decks do their thing
