Title: Santa Cruz/ Scotts Valley Visit
Post by: Kaleo42 on October 27, 2013, 03:25:17 PM
Im looking at some combination including at least one of the following.

6pm Epic Adventure Games on thursday
7pm Mythic Games on Friday
11a Mythic Games on Saturday

I have with me my standard deck, 3 commander decks, the Rogue T3ch collection (half of the member's shared collection), and my old rares that are poorly sorted.

What's at mythic on sat at 11? I think there's a sealed tourney at epic on sat, possibly.

Heh my LGS just gave away two FtV:20 this last month

And also had a tower of power pull (99 cards stacked some good stuff in them)

First week had a jace in it. Someone pulled it and the manager if the store was kind of shocked as it was the third guy who pulled from the tower

someone else got a scalding tarn

Then this last week they had Tarmogoyf in it

Fortunately for the store no one pulled it lol

How does a tower of power work? Do you pay a set price to grab a card or something?

Basically for each win in a match you get 1 pull

So you have a max potential of 6 pulls in a night, 4 if they decide an extra round

If you lose a match and win at least 1, you get a pull

If you lose and don't win at all, no pulls

Sounds cool since they put some solid cards in there.
