 {Deathrite Shaman}

Why might he get banned. I get he's powerful, but how is he OP?

I don't think he'll be banned personally. He's definitely a powerful creature that gives several decks a lot of utility but he's not SO good that you either have to play him or have to have hate for him to be competitive.

Who's saying it's up for being banned? It's very powerful yes, but plenty of modern and legacy cards are. I enjoy  {Lightning Bolt}Ing them, don't take that away from me D;

If there's any card that needs to get banned its one of the Jund toolbox in modern :P

What's Jund Toolbox?

And idk what format I just overheard from my lgs owner that it might happen

You are forgeting that Jund is GBR... Without cards like bolts, terminate and blightning would not be jund so sharp...:P

Why do people run scooze and shaman in a goyf deck?  I've never understood that... Surely it can't work enough to make it worth the risk of not being able to exile stuff due to a weaker goyf...
Because Goyf only needs one of each type to be big. If there are 5 creatures in the 'yard Goyf still only gets +1/+1 so why not exile one, get a bigger Scooze and gain life?

As the same works for Deathrite...;) simply there is always full grave with jund and no need to worry about utilizing Tarmogoyf...;)

No they have all the hand disruption And kill spells they need. BG rock is solid.

Then it is not Jund then...;) But Golgari...;) because Jund is GBR combination...;)

I said BGx...rock, junk, and Jund running the core

Oh then I misuderstood when you were talking about Jund toolbox...;) anyway they hurted Jund with Bloodbraid Elf getting banned...;) do not think they will ban anything from that archetype anytime soon...;)
