Title: Free form shenanigans
Post by: Shadridium on October 24, 2013, 11:06:18 PM
Say two people are playing free form and their decks consist of 60 {chancellor of the dross} and both players draw seven copies each, what happens?

I guess after all the subtracting and adding of life lost and gained, nothing. Except for both having to concede after having no land either. Lolz. Good hypothetical though.

I suppose the first person to reveals the card would win.

Now that I look at spikepit's answer, I would have to agree with him.

A gaping hole in the universe opens up in between the two players, which sucks both players and the cards into the Blind Eternities.

I do like this answer, but...

active player, who would go first, would lose. his 7 drains go on the stack, then the 7 from the opponent. the opponents would resolve first, draining 21 from him, and then they would lose before their drains hit

Would the non active player get to respondby showing one of his before allowing resolution allowing him to live?

Then showing his other 6?
You show them before the first untap, before either player begins, so no

But no effect can happen without allowing non active player a response, so ap shows but then non ap can show before any resolution... Right?
revealing doesnt use the stack, it happens before the game begins. they reveal, then the game begins. active players' abilities hit the stack, and then nonactive players.

An official comes in out of nowhere and slaps you for asking a serious questions about an unregulated format, and expecting it to make sense..

APNAP. Always. Every time.
