Not sure if it was a typo, and I understand if you're new, but the minimum card count for most constructed decks is 60 with the exception of Highlander and EDH which is a form of highlander.

Actually 60 is the max count for decks, and 40 is minimum. Check your facts next time.

I looked it up and you're right! Who knew? 😢 sorry I thought I knew what i was talking about. By the way 10/10 gret deck.

Me too - those cards are just so good!

Out of the 30 something games I've played with this deck I've only got both out once, and I won in 2 turns.

What kind of deck did you play against?

Ok just so we are all clear.
The rules clearly state that the Minimum for constructed is 60 with no maximum (as long as you can shuffle it yourself)

The exceptions for this are for limited which is 40, and again same maximum rule; and for commander which has a minimum and maximum of 100.

Something tells me the OP is a 13 or 14 year old and isn't so huge on magic rulings. :P then again, I could be wrong and he is a seasoned expert, and just started playing again.

40 card minimum is for release, prerelease & drafts. Standard tourneys have a 60 card minimum.

To confirm loop-s-pool's suspicions, I am under 14. I've been playing casually since about kamigawa, but only playing at DCI sanctioned events for about 3 months, mainly draft FNMs which is where i got my misinformation.

Around then yeah. I started by buying a booster pack from a local hobby shop. Then another. Then another. Eventually my friend (currently in college) lent me some mana and tought me how to play.
