Title: Vintage Masters
Post by: LordJanova on October 22, 2013, 11:19:04 PM
So like with modern, vintage is getting it's own set to be released in June next year. The power 9 is being reprinted in it. A lot of people are worried about losing money on copies of the originals. What do you guys think?

EDIT: it's an MTGO exclusive so sorry for the mix up. That was poor observational skills on my part.

It's MtG:O exclusive, sooooo I'd say people shouldn't worry about anything.

Vintage Masters is entirely online. Only digital cards for Magic Online, no physical cards are being printed.

Wow I really should have read that completely first. And I was actually kind of excited for it too, what a bummer.

Just play online. Then it won't be a bummer.

The reserve list prohibits reprints of certain cards. They're freely available online. MTGO wasn't around when they created the reserve list, and they don't consider digital cards "collectible" exactly. Read about Masters Edition (I-IV) where they basically printed everything that wasn't already available (minus the Power 9)
