For {Prowlers Helm} can I equip as an instant? Or is it just as a Sorcery?
All equipping is done at sorcery speed, unless specified otherwise, or by a different ability.

No problem! And just for reference, instant speed "equipping" would be something like {Cranial Plating}.

That is correct, it says attach it to target creature you control instead of equip, which in its reminder text says sorcery speed
