So I want to build a good standard deck because all the ones I have kind of suck, and I want to build a tri colored one. I don't want to spend a crap ton of money (like max $50)
Any suggestions?
It's going to be hard to make a cheap three color deck... If you are looking to make a budget deck in Theros I would make {W} or {W}{R} Heroic.
G/w auras might be fun as well and is cheap
You can do junk rites for relatively little money if you don't run shocks or deathrite shamans. Mine was like $160, but I have 8 shocks 3 deathrites 3 angel of serenity, 3 abrupt decay, etc.
Cheapest deck floating around is still mono-black. Knew {Desecration demon} would go up. Glad I bought 12 when they were $3 a pop.

I wish I had done the same!

Meh I don't think mono-black is that cheap. 4 lifebanes = $40, 4 desecration demons = $48, 3-4 Thoughtseize = $75-$100, 4 hero's downfall = $40
GW auras is cheap with room to grow it revolves around {Gladecover Scout} a common and {Witchstalker} $3 so for 8 of them it's $13 from there auras are cheap you want 4x {Ethereal Armor} common {Unflinching Courage} uncommon and Ordeals uncommons so w/o shocks its cheap.
Also {Fleecemane Lion}s are where you can grow they definitely should be in the deck BUT they are $10 each so that'll cost ya a bit. But to start out you don't need the Lions THAT BADLY anyway.
Hope that helped :D
Idk, my hexproof deck averages $330, I mean you can make a decent hexproof deck without some of the cards, but not truly competitive...

Also you don't need Voices in it for it to be comp. my GW Hexproof runs fine with out it plus idk I'm still not liking Voice in GW Auras your cards should be:
1. Land
2. Hexproof creatures
3. Enchantments
4. Maybe some jank stuff like {Selesnya Charm} for vs. sac or as a mall pump etc.
Nvm say your deck on a prev. Post and idk I still like mine better when I have time ill post it
The problem I think is that if you solely revolve it on the idea like u said you can get behind quick if they get the advantage on you, my deck I've found comes out faster and puts more stuff on the field while still throwing the auras about. Someone makes you sac a creature and all that work you just did is gone, I feel you need to buy a little time to develop the field, especially if you want a fighting chance against a really hardcore aggro deck. This is what I've found, I tried the scouts and they just didn't impress me either.
Also I do agree that you can make a deck fairly cheap in this aspect, just don't expect it to be aaamaaazing. And I do think the {fleecemane lion}s are necessary 😜
Lol true
It's all about testing I don't (normally have an issue with sac spells bc of 4 {Mutavaults} and 2 {Selesnya Charm}a mb and 2 Sb
But true I have gotten behind a lot in some games for sure
I do like ur mutavaults for that purpose though, I didn't really think if that, but also would hate to pull one and not have the color mana I need, but that's b/c a bunch of my spells are either WW or GG
Also do u guys know how to post the mana color symbols in these threads, I always see people do it, just don't know how

Like {T}{B}{U}{W}{G}{R}?
It's the same bracket as creatures but with just B for Black T for tap U for Blue etc
Awesome thanks!
A cheap standard deck is {Maze's End}.
Guildgates are cheap if you don't have them, most people will just give you a play set of each.
Make sure you run secondary win cons and a bunch of wipes or solid removal/ fog spells. Card draw is a bonus.
Secondary win cons can be {Crackling Perimeter}, etc.
