Title: Kill enchantments?
Post by: michael19 on October 19, 2013, 09:18:33 PM
Are there any blue or red cards that exile or/and destroy enchantments? (preferably blue)

It doesn't have to be mono color

The grand majority of enchantment killing is in green. What format are you talking? Also, depending on what you want to do, you could return the enchantment because that is really common in blue.

Meh, blue can deal with them when they're still spells in the stack but not really once it's on the battlefield.

Although if you make a creature change zones with something like {Voyage's End} or {Griptide}, then any aura attached to it won't go with it and will just be destroyed incidentally

Blue can steal enchantments I think. If not, it should be able to

Thanks for all your help guys. It's for an Izzet deck with no particular format, so anything works. Thanks! :)

{commandeer} and {aura thief} do this

Commandeer only works when your opponent is casting the enchantment. Once it's on the field, it ceases to be a spell

For all intents and purposes, it is still a way to take control of someone's enchantment card
