So if I use {golgari charm} in response to {supreme verdict} will auras not leave them since creatures don't actually trigger dying?

Yep. The creatures don't switch zones, so the enchantments are left intact
{303.4c} If an Aura is enchanting an illegal object or player, the object it was attached to no longer exists, or the player it was attached to has left the game, the Aura is put into its owner's graveyard. (This is a state-based action. See rule 704.)
i know this is being redundant but its better for posterity, so i assume that goes for + 1 + 1 counters as well

Correct. For any type of counter to be removed (other than by spells/abilities, of course), the permanent has to actually change zones.
thanks
To clarify though, doesn't -1/-1 counters cancel out +1/+1 counters though.

They still exist simultaneously
They "cancel" for the sake of determining power, but they are still there and can be proliferated or removed via spells and abilities
This is incorrect. Both +1 and -1 counters cannot exist on the same permenant. They remove each other until they cannot any more.
Here is the ruling
121.3. (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=121.3.): If a permanent has both a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter on it, N +1/+1 and N -1/-1 counters are removed from it as a state-based action, where N is the smaller of the number of +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it. See rule 704.
I thought they were literally removed. I need to learn how to navigate rules better.
However... {Golgari Charm} doesn't use counters, so none will be removed.

Well, I stand officially corrected, thank you Wally, I didn't know that... That changes a few things... +1 my good man
If it makes you feel better, I made the same incorrect assumption a while ago.
