Title: choices against supreme verdict
Post by: DirtyMustachio on October 18, 2013, 10:21:32 AM
I've only come up with 4

1. Blink: phase to exile, then return to play
Note: {Legion's Initiative} is the only card i can gather works well here.

2. Regenerate: regen shield keeps creatures in play tapped preventing death.
Note: {goglari charm} or {mending touch} is a good example

3. Indestructible: should be pretty self explanitory.
Note: cards like {boros charm} and {rootborn defenses}

4. Your creatures die

And then there's {gift of immortality} but that's not really an out.

Anybody else?

{vensor, shaper savant}

Also, regenerating returns NOTHING to play. It prevents them from dying. That said, a regenerated creature will not trigger "morbid" or any other "dies" effects. It is simply removed from combat and tapped as a replacement effect instead of being destroyed.

Hmm choices... I suppose you could counter it... By resigning.  If you resign in response, it wouldn't resolve.  Hence it would be countered.  ;)

This x 1000
#5 sleight of hand counter.
