Title: Ajani's life total token
Post by: Destore117 on October 14, 2013, 04:16:05 PM
So say I have {Ajani Goldmane} and use his ultimate for the X/X life total token.
Could I attach {Gift of Immortality} to it to keep it safe from leaving play and disappearing?
Or would it hit graveyard and therefore disappear first?

If it touches another zone then it is gone for good.

Unfortunately you could not. Whenever a token changes zones, it is removed from the game as a state-based action. State-based actions cannot be responded to, and do not use the stack.

Thanks :/ was hoping it was similar to regenerate where instead of it dying it just stays in play.

Could just use {indestructability} right?
Sure! There's still ways to get around it (as with everything), but as long as it doesn't change zones, it'll be okay.
